This group was created to provide a platform for like-minded people interested in tree plantation in Zirakpur.

Our first meeting was held on June 9, 2019. There were 4 people present in that meeting. So it was mutually decided that we will start with tree plantation in member's area so that particular member related to that area can take care of the trees regularly.

Our first action was taken on this Sunday, June 23, 2019. Five members planted 5 silver oak trees behind The Eminence. It was not a great start but considering this as our first step, it is a milestone in the movement.

Now there are 100+ members in this group. I hope maximum number of people will join hands and move together towards a Green Zirakpur.
