Gazipur, The Van Mahotsav plantation in Gazipur dense forest was recently organized by Municipal Committee in collaboration with Pukaar and Green Planet Society. The event witnessed promising commitments from various stakeholders, including DFO Mohali and the EO of Zirakpur Municipal Council, Ravneet Singh.
During the event, Chief Guest MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa expressed his vision for a greener and more sustainable city, highlighting the significance of planting trees and preserving natural habitats. Guest of Honer DFO Mohali, in a pledge of support, promised to provide plants for the initiative, ensuring its successful implementation.
Furthermore, Jorawar Singh, Mrs. Sudesh Mittal, Rupesh Bali, and Gazipur Govt School were honored by MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa for their significant contributions to Mission Green Zirakpur.
